2026-2027 - Planned update of the Sablefish operating model
Revision of the Sablefish Operating Model (OM) is planned for 2026-27. The OM reflects current thinking about BC Sablefish stock and fishery dynamics. The OM is used to characterize stock status and generate simulated stock and fishery monitoring data for testing the expected performance of alternative MPs against specific conservation and economic objectives for Sablefish.
